At GEO-SEO.Expert we respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we process, for what purpose, and what rights you have, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. What Data We Process

  • Email address: the one you provide to receive your audit report.
  • Analyzed URL: the address of the website you decide to scan.
  • Payment details: managed entirely by Stripe. We do not store your card details; we only keep the transaction identifier and status.
  • Technical data: basic connection information (e.g., IP address) for security and functional purposes.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

  • Provide the audit service and send you the report — basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Manage payment — basis: performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c GDPR).
  • Service security — basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

4. Recipients and Data Processors

To provide the service, we share data with providers acting as data processors:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Resend — sending the report via email.
  • Supabase — database hosting.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Performance-measurement provider — to compute real-world performance (Core Web Vitals), the address of the website you choose to scan is sent to a third-party performance-analysis service.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (e.g., USA). In those cases, transfers are protected by the appropriate guarantees provided by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses and/or Data Privacy Framework).

5. Retention

We retain your data for the time necessary to provide the service and, subsequently, for the periods required by applicable tax and commercial regulations. After these periods, they are deleted or anonymized.

6. Your Rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability by writing to geo-seo-expert@proton.me. If you consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, the lead authority of the data controller — ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro) — or with the data protection authority of your country of residence.

Where any processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. We do not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal effects on you, nor profiling.

We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. We will always publish the current version on this page with its update date.
